Believed to have been supplied on a special order by the Bamford family (JCB owners) as a wedding present for a family member although due to a tragic death before the wedding the car was never put on the road and spent its first 7 years in the JCB storage before being sold and road registered in 1983 then being sold to a collector in Hong Kong. Re-imported back to the DVLA some years later where it shows just 2 previous keepers. Owned by the current keeper for 10 years.

Unique among Rover V8 this car was special ordered with gold plated fittings to the outside and interior including door furniture and badging.

Showing 24,000 miles which while we have do not have sufficient paperwork to verify this as correct, when looking at the interior and general condition we believe this could well be correct.
