First registered January 1975 this RS2000 model in sought after Olympic blue was restored approximatley 12 years ago. Purchased by the current owner in 2017 with the intention of using for hillclimb events. He used the car for a handful of tarmac events but reverted back to using his purpose built Austin due to the Escort being "too tidy to compete".

Rolling road tuned by specialists Motorscope at the correct 100.4BHP factory spec. A RS2000 spec Pinto and gearbox are fitted althought the original "numbers matching" pinto engine is included with the car along with the original front seats, original wheels and other spares.

Sold with a good sized history file including receipts for maintenance as well as original user manual and service book with 9 stamps up to 1984 at 36,000 miles. Currently showing 50,000 miles.
