1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo

Registration: G476XTY
VIN: SCC082910KHD13587
Milage Showing: 54,000
Transmission: Manual
MOT: 09/09/2023

Redesigned in 1987 by designer of the Mclaren F1 Peter Stevens with an all new rounder look than the previous S3 Giugiaro designed cars and now built using Lotus' groundbreaking composite technique providing a far stronger body shell with 22% more torsional rigidity than the previous car. Named the X180 this generation Esprit still featured the same 2.2 litre 4 cylinder turbo engine as previous cars, now with Multipoint fuel injection and other upgrades pushing the power up to 280BHP.

This example finished in its original colour of Calypso red with cream leather interior and original OZ Nova alloy wheels was first registered December 1989. Showing 54,000 miles although the vendor advises the cars history file was unfortunatley lost before his purchase so we are unable to verify the mileage as correct. Looking at the condition of the car and previous MOT data we believe it could well be correct.
