Not to be mistaken for the standard Volvo 850 T5. The T5R was a small run of upgraded cars available for 1 year only. Based on the 850 T5 with its 2.3 litre 5 cylinder turbocharged engine the T5R featured engine ECU tuning and interior upgrades developed in conjunction with Porsche, power was upped to 243BHP and an electronically limted top speed of 152MPH.

Other upgrades include sports bodykit including front & rear bumpers, side skirts and boot spoiler, 17 inch alloy wheels in graphite, leather/alcantara sports interior and most of the volvo optional extras added as standard.

1 of only 440 UK supplied examples and 1 of only 28 showing as left on UK roads. This example was first registered December 1994 and shows 199,000 miles. An impressive mileage for most marques with the exception of Volvo who regularly recognise owners with cars over 1 million miles.
