This 747cc Austin Seven 2 door saloon (affectionatley named Lady Jane) started life with its original owner in December 1933 where it spent its first 30 years with its first 3 owners before being purchased by Tom as a replacement to his old open top Bentley as a more practical mode of transport to his family of 5 Spending most of its time in Buckinghamshire before moving up to Scone in Scotland with the family.

During her time in Scotland in the 70s Lady Jane competed in the Doune rally and also featured in Grampian TV's Flair TV programme for which she was paid £10. At this time Lady Jane featured on the cover of Midweek Motoring and the local paper.

By 1981 she required some light restoration work so was sold to a gentleman from Guildtown who after restoring Lady Jane sold her to a Church minister who after some years sold her on to his brother the then director of Stagecoach transport.

Post millenium and after a sympathetic resotration Lady Jane was placed in the care of Bonhams auction house in Edinburgh to be sold with all proceeds going to the Princess Royal trust. To draw attention to the sale Sir Jackie Stewart drove JO8747 through the streets of Edinburgh (a photograph of the journey signed by Sir Jackie is sold with the car)
