1970 Triumph GT6

Launched in October 1970 this MK3 GT6 was revised from earlier cars to mirror its Spitfire counterpart. With an all new bodyshell updated with a sharper rear end, recessed door handles and a smoother front end.

This example is body number 22, leaving the factory on the 28th of October 1970. Clues to its early nature include the rear window with its vertical heated screen striping carried over from ther MK2 until supplies ran out and being replaced with the horizontal elements found on most MK3s.

Finished in its original Signal red with contrasting black interior trim and fitted with optional extras including overdrive, heater and steering lock.

Showing 73,000 miles and now tax and MOT exempt. sold with a good sized history file including receipts for servicing and maintenance dating back to the late 80s through to more recent work including clutch kit. Also sold with heritage certificate.
