1961 Ford Consul Deluxe

Launched in 1959 the MK2 Lowline was changed from the earlier MK2 cars with a lower roof line, redesigned rear lights as well as servo assisted brakes with discs to the front. The Deluxe model was added to the top of the range to include leather interior, upgraded horn ring to the steering wheel, cigarette lighter and optional two tone paint.

This 1961 example is presented in wonderful original condition in gloss black with contrasting white roof and optional windscreen visor as well as red leather interior. Showing 62,000 miles and sold with a large history file including Shell service book detailing services throughout the mid 60s as well as original brown log book (current UK log book also included) and many receipts for servicing and maintenance over the years as well as MOT certificates and original owners club newsletters.
