One of 621 cancelled export order Maestros destined for Europe and bought by Minardi F1 team owner Paul Stoddart's Parkway garage in Ledbury. Purchased in crated "knock down kit" form and built by Parkway garages with the name Ledbury garages. Sold between 1997 and 2001 with the very last few models being supplied on the new style 51 number plates!
Virtually identical to the original Maestro with the exception of a 5 speed VW gearbox, available in only red, white or blue and with "CLUB" trim only for £4,995 making it the cheapest new car in Britain.
This example was first registered in January 2001 by Parkway garage and shows only 9,000 kilometres which equates to 5,000 miles. Although built in right hand drive form the Ledbury Maestro retained the European speedo recording in kilometres.
