Ordered new by Miss Hebron of Whitby in December 1932, the order was for a Firefly 12 with its 1.5 litre engine and Sports Saloon body by Cross & Ellis. Delivered to Miss H on the 11th of April 1933 where the car was used around her hometown until she traded the car in for a wolseley 1500 many years later.

Beautifully presented after a recent light restoration including a respray in its original black colour as well as sympathetic interior refresh including door card repairs, leather clean and feed as well as large engine service.

Presented in stunning original condition with the exception of an upgrade to a Ford type 9 gearbox allowing this Alvis to compete with modern traffic. Sold with a large history file including original Alvis user manual, warranty card and "car record order sheet" as well as many MOT certificates from the 1960s through to 2011. Also sold with larger folder of receipts including records of an engine rebuild in 1979/1980 as well as Rotax handbook for using the lights and ignition system.

Believed to be 1 of 2 Firefly sports saloons left in existance this is a rare change to own a stunning piece of british motoring history.

Please see our walk around video for more information and engine start up
