The Gloria was a range of cars launched by Triumph in 1933 including sporting saloons, coupes, tourers and golfers coupes available with a range of engine configuration based on a Coventry Climax engine design built under licence by Triumph.
This example of the Gloria range is a Saloon featuring the optional 1,232cc 10.8hp model (over the 9.5hp model also available)
Owned by the current keeper for 10 years, A well respected vehicle restorer in North Yorkshire. Part of his own personal collection, during his ownership the subject of a sympathetic restoration including a respray to its original colour as well as suspension and brake overhaul as well as engine rebuild. Other work includes re-chromed bumpers, rebuilt headlights using the original bodies with interiors re-silvered, new tyres and inner tubes and the addition of flashing indicators.
A beautifully presented example of the rarely seen Gloria. Sold with photo album of work carried out, original handbook and collection of invoices.
