Launched in 1999 and based on the Mitsubishi Colt the Satria GTI used the help of Lotus to develop the cars handling. Fitted with a 4 cylinder 1.8 litre petrol engine the GTI also received rally style arch extensions, sports front and rear bumpers, rear spoiler and a Recaro interior.
