First registered November 1970, finished in Sahara beige metallic with "gold metallic" leather interior. This early example with twin Zenith Stromberg carburettors (later cars were fitted with fuel injection) and column shift Borg Warner automatic gearbox.

Owned by the current keeper since 2017 who bought the car after it had just finished a well executed restoration with work including removing the engine bay to refresh and repaint the engine as well as clean and repaint engine bay, full body paint in its original colour, brightwork re-chromed as well as suspension, differential and brake overhaul.

Fitted with a period correct PYE radiophone but otherwise presented in original spec. Sold with large display board including photos of the restoration, invoice for over £12,000 in 2016 for restoration work, 2 keys and original book pack.

A rare excellent example of Volvo's luxury saloon.
