Launched in 1965 to replace the S3 the T1 was based on the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. Hand built side by side at Crewe factory where all Rolls Royce and Bentley cars were produced until the companies split in 2002.
Considerably rarer than the silver shadow with 1 T1 for every 12 Rolls Royce's produced the Bentley featured differences including a smaller radiator grill, Bentley badging and interior changes.
This stunning example in metallic grey with Red Connolly leather interior was first registered January 1970 making it the more desirable 3 speed GM400 gearbox model (instead of the earlier and less reliable hydromatic models produced in the first few years of the model)
Showing only 3 former keepers owned by the original keeper for 38 years from 1970 right through to 2008. Showing 75,000 miles and although tax and MOT exempt still carrying a current MOT until November 2026.
Fitted with the all important Harvey Bailey handling pack with its upgraded springs and anti roll bars, considered a must for any T series or Silver Shadow and sold with a large and well presented history file including service book as well as invoices for recommissioning and service earlier this year, new fuel pump and rocker cover gasket in 2023, rebuilt and reset driveshafts in 2021 as well as previous tax discs and MOT certificates dating back to the early 1980s.
