1939 Morris Super-Six Taxi

First registered March 1939 and used as a taxi by W&G ltd of the Fulham area of London until 1952 where it was then sold to a private taxi driver in Essex before being retired from service in 1956. It was then stored in Essex before being recomissioned in 2000 and used as wedding car until it was purchased by the current owner in 2008 where the car was restored including new ash frame, engine rebuild with hardened seats for unleaded fuel, gearbox overhaul and respray in its original colours of blue over black.

Beautifully presented and believed to be 1 of only 3 left on UK roads. Meticulously maintained by its current owner and sold with a good sized history file detailing its ownership including fuel ration vouchers from its time during the war, original brown log book, early tax discs along with more recent documents including correspondance with the owner's club, photographs of work carried out during its restoration and invoices for restoration and maintenance work.
