Launched in 1998 the third generation of BMW's flagship super saloon the E39 featured a 4.9 litre V8 engine (a first for a BMW M car) developing 400BHP and 6 speed manual gearbox. Regularly topping lists of the best BMW of all time.

This example was first registered March 2000, finished in Carbon Scwartz black with rarely seen Embossed leather in black and Silverstone silver. Fitted with optional extras including electric rear blind, Electric memory seats with lumbar support, heated front seats, TV with onboard monitor and navigation, Xenon headlights and automatic air conditioning.

Owned for the last 20 years by a company director whose fleet manager has kept detail records of the cars servicing and maintenance including recent records both Vanos units being rebuilt along with solenoids, timing chaines, guides and tensioners.
