Based on the BMC AD016 platform that saw models produced by MG, Wolseley, Morris and Riley. Originally with an 1,100cc engine, then 1,275cc. The Vanden Plas variant was sold as the top of the line model, costing £195 more than the MG equivelant and vastly upgraded with unique radiator grill, leather interior with Walnut trim and picnic trays, front disc brakes and in the case of this later example a twin carburettor 1275cc engine.
First registered June 1974 this Vanden Plas 1300 Princess shows 22,000 miles although we do not have sufficient paperwork to verify this as correct. Owned by the current keeper for 5 years and used as a regular show goer during her ownership. Now tax and MOT exempt.
