1972 Mercedes-Benz 280SE

Registration: YOD621K
VIN: 10801860095603
Milage Showing: 13,000
Transmission: Manual
MOT: 30/04/2024

  • Factory fuel injection
  • Sought after Caledonia green
  • MOT till April 2024

Built in 1972 and sold new in South Africa before being imported to the UK in 2016. Now fully UK registered. In 'SE' trim, the most notable feature of the SE was its fuel injection system a big improvement over the base level carburettors.

This example, presented in fantastic condition in one of the most sought after colour combinations of Caledonia green with Palomino tan interior is sold with a large history file detailing its history in South Africa, documents from the import process and records of servicing and maintenance during its time in the UK.

South African vehicles are sought after due to the warm climate and lack of salt used on the roads meaning older vehicles tend to be of better condition. This example although MOT exempt still has a current test till April next year and shows 21,900kilometers which equates to 13,600 miles although we do not have sufficient paperwork to verify this.
