Milage Showing:
Transmission: Automatic
MOT: 19/04/2024
Launched in 2001 as part of Volkswagens push of W layout engines and derived from the same design as the W12 in the Bentley Continental GT and the W16 of the Bugatti Veyron. The W8 produced 277BHP and 270 lb-ft of Torque. Mated to an automatic gearbox and delivering power to all 4 wheels.
The Passat was upgraded to suit its new engine inclduing higher quality leather interior, front and rear heated seats, wood trim and 4 subtle tailpipes tucked under the rear bumper.
This example was sold new in japan in 2002 before being imported to the UK in February 2017. Showing just one former keeper which is believed to have been the import company before being sold to the current keeper in March 2017.
Sold with original Japanese VW book pack including what appears to be evidence of Japanese service history as well as UK service invoices and 2 sets of keys.
Japanese imports are sought after due to the general condition of the cars due to no use of salt on public roads and warmer climate meaning the cars are less susceptible to the usual mini corrosion.
