At the end of WW2 the US army left 22,000 Willys and Ford Jeeps to the French government to allow them to quickly re-equip the army with vehicles. Many of the 22,000 were in un-usable condition, this led the French army to break a large number of these vehicles down and catalogue them for spare parts. Due to the number of parts collected the decision was made to re-produce vehicles using a mixture of Willys, Ford and new Hotchkiss parts. This production carried on from the 1940s all the way through to 1978.

This 1960 example is presented in fantastic condition, restored by the current owner and a regular visitor of local shows and events. Sold with rarely seen Willys Bantam trailer.
