Launched in 1968 the 500L (L standing for Lusso) was set to be a more luxurious version of the standard 500 (known as the 500F) with additions including tubed bumper guards front and rear, new front badge design, chrome trim to the front and rear screens, redesigned hubcaps, anti-glare textured finish to the dash, additional interior storage, trimmed door cards with door pockets, redesigned instrument cluster and carpeted flooring instead of the F model's rubber mats. The engine and body remained unchanged from other 500 models.
This example, UK supplied from new was first registered in March 1973, rarely seen in right hand drive. Well presented in White with contrasting red canvas roof. Showing 25,000 miles and 5 previous keepers. Owned by the current keeper for 16 years. Sold with a good sized history file including records of servicing and maintenance as well as original Fiat tool kit complete with Fiat stamped tools as well as photos from a mild restoration including re-spray carried out under the current keepers ownership.
