Designed in conjunction with British fashion designed Paul Smith, limited to just 1,800 cars with 300 designated for the UK and the remaining 1,500 going to Japan. Based on the standard Mini Cooper with its 1.3 litre fuel injected engine with the addition of Paul Smith designed badging including 9carrat gold front badge, Charcoal grey mini light alloy wheels, full leather interior including dash top and unique green glove box interior with limited edition plaque.

Only available in White or Paul Smith Blue this example was supplied new in Japan in 1998 before being imported back to the UK in 2018. Fully UK registered and showing 974 miles. The vendor states as part of the import process the KPH speedo was replaced for a new UK MPH unit rather than converting the KPH. The mileage read 0 when the car was UK registered.

Japanese minis are sought after due to the general condition of the cars due to no use of salt on public roads and warmer climate meaning the cars are less susceptible to the usual mini corrosion. Japanese supplied Minis are sold with Air Conditioning as standard whereas UK models had it as an expensive optional extra rarely selected.

Please note - Paul smith models also came with a British isles emblem on the front grill. This example has the optional 4 spot lamps instead of the usual 2 which requires the removal of the emblem. The emblem is supplied with the car.
