Designed and built by Grinnall Sports Car, a company previously known for modifying and building a sports car based on Triumph TR7 and TR8 models before producing a bespoke range of cars the Scorpion. Available as a reverse trike the Scorpion III and the Scorpion IV a four wheeled option.
The Scorpion III used a space frame chassis and a 1,000cc engine from a BMW K100 sports bike along with the BMW sequential gearbox.
This example shows 200 miles and is sold with a collection of previous MOT certificates as well as records of Brembo brake discs and a new fuel tank. MOT history shows the mileage is actually 24,000, the vendor advises of updated clocks fitted to the car in his ownership to a digital readout starting from 0.
