Originally supplied new in the US before being bought in Texas and then imported back to the UK in 2003 before being fully restored to a very high standard including stripped down to a bare shell and repainted in its original Powder blue. Other work included the chassis being stripped, cleaned and blasted, checked on a jig before being enamelled and rebuilt with all new suspension bushings, new copper brake lines, brake cylinders and cables, new wheel bearings and new shock absorbers.

Other work also included new wiring loom with the addition of accuspark electric ignition along with engine rebuild inclduing new rocker shaft, rocker and camshaft bushes, new valves, springs and valve guides and pushrods as well as gearbox and differential rebuild.

Finished to a very high stanard by the current and only UK keeper to be used in road rallies such as the historic monte carlo, fitted with Halda speedpilot, time of flight chronology from a MIG15 fighter plane for use as timing on stages.

Fitted with a blue mohair hood as well as matching removable side screens as well as a matching powder blue "coupe" style factory steel hardtop.

Having covered 8,000 miles since the restoration completed, winning multiple awards including Car of the Year at the international Triumph rally in 2014 beating over 600 other cars!

Sold with a large folder of photographs from the work carried out as well as receipts and invoices and current owners accounts of the car's history and work carried out.
