Launched in the early 1950s, originally known as the Kabinenroller (scooter with cabin) before using the Messerschmitt name. The original model the KR175 was replaced with the KR200 in 1955. Updated from the early car with a larger 191cc Sachs two stroke engine, reworked body design and new cabin layout along with shock absorbers and larger wheels for comfort.

This example, built in 1963 features the rarely seen optional snakeskin interior trim, beautifully presented throughout and sold with a large history file of invoices for servicing and maintenance as well as newspaper article from a past owner, owners manual and owners club magazines.
