Supplied new and first registered May 1960 by Whipples Garage Jaguar of Grantham. Finished in Indigo blue with contrasting light blue leather interior this 3.4 litre model with factory manual gearbox and overdrive shows only 1 previous keeper! Owned by the original keeper for 65 years when the car was sold to the current keeper in 2006. Part of a small Jaguar collection and used regulary up until coming to our sale.

Showing 73,000 miles and now tax and MOT exempt. Sold with 2 keys as well as a good sized history file including original sales invoice from the supplying garage as well as heritage certificate, previous MOT certificates as well as record of the car being entered in the 1987 Benson & Hedges concours. More recent records include a caliper rebuild kit in 2024 and the original magazine feature of the car selling between the first and second (current) owner at Bonhams in 2006.
