Launched in 1935 as Ford's main model with the platform being offered as a 4 door saloon, 4 door convertible, 2 door roadster, 2 door coupe, station wagon, pickup and a van. Fitted with the popular 3.6 litre flathead V8 and manual gearbox.

Although designed and built originally in the US for the American market. The Model 48 was also built in Ford's recently opened Degenham plant in right hand drive form although in much smaller numbers.

This rarely seen Dagenham right hand drive model shows only 3 previous keepers, the original owner from new till 2019 (82 years) and showing 70,000 miles, now tax and MOT exempt.
