The 1.5 features series 2 revised styling additions to what is fundamentally a series 1 car including open headlights to comply with US regulations, wrap around rear bumper and relocated indicators along with interior changes including all new switch gear.

This 2+2 example was originally supplied to America before being imported back to the UK by a Darlington based Doctor in 1990 who after registering the car in the March of 1991 proceeded to have the car stripped down to a bare shell by a restoration specialists in Darlington before being converted to right hand drive, other work included a full engine and full drivetrain rebuild, removal of all body filler and repairs done using metal and lead before being resprayed in its original Opalescent Gun Metal and the original interior cleaned and refitted. All documented with a large folder of invoices and hundreds of photos detailing the work.

Owned by the current keeper since 2002 in which time he advised the car has had another bare metal respray, again in Opalescent Gun Metal and all chrome work stripped and rechromed including the wire wheels.

Showing 39,000 miles and now tax and MOT exempt. Sold with a large history file of the 1990s restoration including photographs as well as folder of receipts for work carried out during the cars current 22 year ownership.
